Makkal Adhikaram, a social organisation in Tamil Nadu, has reportedly urged the state government to remove former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s memorial from the Marina beach. According to reports, the group has said that Jayalalithaa is the first convict in the disproportionate assets case and having a memorial for her was illegal.
