Kenji Hiramatsu, Japan’s Ambassador to India, on Thursday, revealed that Japan has reportedly decided to be associated with the development of Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Varanasi as smart cities. Further, Hiramatsu added that his country is quite interested in urban development initiatives of GoI & decided to be a partner.
