Income Tax Department officials have reportedly started carrying out raids at 36 places related to Gokulam Chit finance company including Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. According to reports, more than 500 officials have been deployed to conduct the raid. Notably, Gokulam Chit Funds Managing Director Gokulam Gopalan opened a ‘G’ studios in Chennai.
