Aviation watchdog BEA has reportedly said two IndiGo and SilkAir flights nearly collided over Kolkata in December, when the SilkAir flight was preparing to land and Indigo flight departing from the same runway. According to BEA, vertical separation between the flights, carrying over 200 passengers, "was zero feet" and horizontal separation 0.6 Nautical Miles. The Centre reportedly ordered a probe into the matter.
