Despite the substantial discounts, automobile manufacturers in India are reportedly saddled with an inventory of more than 140,000 BS-III vehicles. Notably, the total value of the BS-III vehicles in the inventory is estimated to be Rs 5,633 crore. According to reports, several manufacturers are planning to export these automobiles to the markets where they are allowed to sell BS-III vehicles.
