According to IATA reports, China overtook India as the fastest growing domestic market in March. India was at the top of the global charts for the domestic air passenger growth for 23 straight months until February. The domestic passenger traffic in India in March grew at 14.6 percent while in China it was at 15.1 percent. India registered the lowest growth in 18 months primarily due to the notes ban, IATA indicated.
