According to reports, India has surpassed Israel to become the third highest number of start-up incubators. The Indian government's initiative to establish 30 incubators under the start-up India programme has enabled India to gain the ranking. Currently, India has 140 such institutions. Notably, only China and the US have more incubators than India.
