According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, India has overtaken China in overall sales for 2016 to become the number one two-wheeler market in the world. Reportedly, India sold 17.7 million two-wheelers in 2016, while it was 16.8 million for China. While the Indian two-wheeler market has seen a gradual uptrend, China's two-wheeler sales have been on the decline over the past few years, suggest reports.
