According to reports, India on Wednesday released and handed over as many as 39 Pakistani prisoners to the neighbouring country at the Wagah border, including 21 people, who had served their jail sentence in India, and 18 fishermen. Notably, the BSF had earlier handed over a Pakistani national who had crossed into Indian territory inadvertently back to his home country.
