The ICC on Tuesday announced that it will reportedly send a World XI team to Lahore in September for a four match T20 series against Pakistan. This comes after the successful staging of the Pakistan Super League final on March 5. The tournament, called 'The Independence Cup', will be held to make efforts for the reintroduction of International cricket to Pakistan after an eight-year hiatus and could witness the likes of Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Quinton De Kock, Jos Buttler, if anything is to go by ICC’s current WorldT20 XI.
