Following the severe criticism over his comments on mass molestation on New Year's eve in Bengaluru, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Thursday said, "I have full respect for women. I have sisters, a mother, a wife." He also reportedly added, “From the day I took over as the Home Minister, I have stressed on the importance of protecting women and children.”
