The National Human Rights Commission reportedly issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu government and the state police regarding the violence provoked during the Jallikattu protest. The commission said they are issuing the notice on their own view considering the reports by the media. Tamil Nadu government has been asked to submit the reports in two weeks time.
