The Human Resource Development Ministry on Tuesday announced a scheme called IDEAS, or Innovations for Development of Efficient and Affordable Systems. According to reports, the HRD Ministry has set up this scheme to 'challenge young minds to come up with solutions to the problems of society'. Notably, the Ministry has also announced a prize of Rs.1 crore to the best solution. The participation has also been made mandatory for the students of IITs, NITs and CFTIs.
