Following a report of an overheating system that melted and caused charring, American technology company HP has recalled 1,01,000 laptop batteries in the US. HP similarly recalled 41,000 batteries over similar concerns in June last year. Consumers are asked to stop using the batteries, pull them out of their laptop and contact HP for a replacement.
