Former Supreme Court Justice Markandey Katju has reportedly called Lord Rama a mythological figure and questioned how people claim Ayodhya is his birthplace. “Lord Rama was born in Treta yug, which was a million years ago, so how can one be sure,” he asked. Further, Katju also said that Rama, in the original Ramayana, was considered a great king with good deeds and not got.
