The Madras High Court on Monday reportedly ordered a ban on extraction of minerals and mineral particles from the sands of beaches across Tamil Nadu. According to reports, the court has also imposed a ban on import of the minerals. Notably, the court asked district judges and concerned officials to follow its order.
