The Madras High Court on Wednesday reportedly directed the Centre and Tamil Nadu governments to look into the grievance about welfare schemes to rehabilitate the families of fishermen who are allegedly attacked by the Sri Lanka Navy. The court also reportedly disposed of a PIL seeking similar direction for the welfare of families of Tamil Nadu fishermen, affected by the “recurring attacks”.
