The Department of Telecom has reportedly launched Tarang Sanchar, a web portal for information about mobile towers and electromagnetic field emission. The department officially said that EMF portal is designed to provide a public interface for viewing the mobile towers in the vicinity of any locality. Notably, the test will be conducted by the Telecom Enforcement Resource and Monitoring field for a fee of Rs 4000.
