Government to lower I-T slab for women

The Indian government is reportedly planning to lower income tax for single women. Notably, the number of single women in India have increased by 39% between 2001 and 2011. The Centre is also reportedly considering to introduce Aadhaar-linked health cards for free basic health check-ups for women.
