Tamil Nadu government has reportedly declared former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s birthday on January 17 as a public holiday. According to reports, the announcement comes ahead of MGR’s 100th birth anniversary. Notably, the government has declared the holiday for schools, colleges and government offices in the state.
