Google Maps has accidentally labelled Chennai as Kovur. While the areas in Chennai and other surrounding districts remain with their same names, Chennai district is named as Kovur in Maps. Kovur is actually a town is a neighbourhood of Chennai located near Porur. Notably, a town in Nellore district, a town in West Godavari district and a village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh are also named Kovur.
