Google has reportedly announced that they have expanded the size limit to 50MB on emails and attachments that can be received through its service this. This effectively means that Gmail users will now be able to receive larger sized emails from other clients that offer to send mails with size up to 50MB. The size cap on mails that can be sent from Gmail is still at 25MB.
