Fine to eat dead animals, not those slaughtered: Dalai Lama

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama reportedly said that it is fine to eat dead animals, but they should not be killed purposely. “It is alright to have meat of dead animals, not those slaughtered or purposefully killed for meat,” said Dalai Lama. The 81-year-old spiritual leader also said that many in the Buddhist world are vegetarians because they believe it is wrong to slaughter any creature.
