Sixteen parties have reportedly written a letter to the Election Commission on Monday asking the electoral body to revert to paper ballot system. According to reports, the Election Commission is likely to convene an all-party meet to discuss the reliability of the electronic voting machine. Notably, the reliability of the EVMs became the bone of contention after a machine used during a trial in Madhya Pradesh reportedly printed out BJP slips.
