The police reportedly said at least eight people were killed and dozens more injured in a bus crash near Ranchi of Jharkhand on Sunday. Superintendent of Police Kuldip Dwivedi reportedly said, “Eight passengers including, four children were killed on the spot and 56 others injured when a bus overturned at a sharp bend near a valley on the Pithoria-Patratu road.” The cause of the crash is being investigated, he added.
