The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday arrested K Liakath Ali, an engineering graduate from Chennai. The arrest is said to be a part of ED's operation against 500 shell companies. The ED has also frozen bank deposits worth Rs 20 crore as part of the operation. Other than Ali, ED also arrested another person from Bengaluru as a follow-up action.
