After RBI had refused to increase the weekly withdrawal limits, Election Commission has once again demanded the banking institution to hike the limits to Rs 2 lakh from Rs 24,000 for the candidates contesting the upcoming Assembly elections. The electoral body, in a letter to RBI, has also added that the candidates need cash for petty expenses.
