The Union road transport ministry, on Saturday, has reportedly announced a hike in driving licence fee. According to reports, the ministry has increased the fee to Rs 200, which is five times higher than the current fee of Rs 40. Notably, a penalty of Rs 300 will be imposed on those who fail to renew their licence on time.
