Absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya on Thursday alleged to the Supreme Court that he did not have enough money to settle the Rs 9,000 crore-debt he owes to banks in India. Further, Mallya stated that all his assets have been attached by the Enforcement Directorate. The court asked Mallya if he has honestly disclosed his assets, as he has been absconding since 2016 following his inability to pay back his loan.
