West Bengal lawmaker Udayan Guha has reportedly capped consultation charges in his constituency for doctors at Rs 250. Further, he added that the doctor’s fee would be reduced to Rs 125 for the second visit. Notably, this comes after West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slammed hospitals for overcharging and "substandard service." Meanwhile, Guha could not confirm as to how many doctors would follow the order.
