Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party has reportedly celebrated its 50th anniversary of coming to power on Monday. According to reports, the 50-year reign of Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu began on March 6, 1967, under the leadership of CN Annadurai. Notably, nine persons, including Karunanidhi, MGR and Jayalalithaa, have become the Chief Ministers of the state representing DMK and AIADMK.
