Vinay Sharma, one of the six convicts in the Delhi Nirbhaya gangrape case, allegedly attempted suicide in Tihar jail on Wednesday night. He reportedly consumed some pills and used a towel to hang himself, but his inmate suddenly woke up and brought him down. He is in hospital and he may survive, the police said.
