Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s star batsman AB De Villiers and Gujarat Lions wicketkeeper-batsman Brendon McCullum engaged in friendly Twitter banter on Tuesday. It all started with De Villiers tweeting, “Really disappointed to be missing the opening game of the IPL tomorrow, good luck to @ShaneRWatson33 and the rest of the @RCBTweets boys!,” to which McCullum poked fun at RCB’s cluster of injuries to the main players by tweeting, “Dodgy back again bro? You fellas almost need to roll out the coach (Daniel Vettori) for game 1!?” However, De Villiers would sportingly reply, “Now that would be good entertainment!”
