Ashleigh Barty, the 20-year old Australian cricketer-turned-tennis player on Tuesday, won her first Women's Tennis Association singles title, the WTA Malaysian Open, in Kuala Lumpur. Barty, a former Women's Big Bash League player, also won the women's doubles tournament at the event. Currently ranked 92 in the WTA circuit, Ashleigh won the junior Wimbledon title as a 15-year-old in 2011.
