Court dismisses Dhinakaran’s plea for adjournment of FERA cases

According to reports, an economic offences court in Chennai on Monday rejected AIADMK deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran’s plea to adjourn the hearing of two cases against him. The Enforcement Directorate filed the cases against him in 1994 for alleged violation of foreign exchange laws. Dhinakaran had sought adjournment of the hearing of the cases till the culmination of RK Nagar bypoll process.
