A judicial magistrate court in Alandur has reportedly directed imprisonment of director Gowthaman and five others who protested at the Kathipara flyover on Thursday. According to reports, the protest was carried out in support of the farmers protesting in Delhi for over 30 days. Notably, the protesters were earlier arrested by police for blocking the flyover with an iron chain.
