The protesters, who met Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy at the secretariat on Wednesday, have reportedly said that the CM had assured them that he would stop the hydrocarbon extraction project in Neduvasal. According to reports, the protesters also added that they would consult the Neduvasal villagers and take a final decision on continuing or withdrawing the protest.
