Chinese smartphone maker Oppo reportedly said that it had sacked the employee who was accused of tearing an Indian national flag and throwing it into the dustbin. The action was taken after a massive protest in front of the company at Noida. Oppo has deep respect for India and its culture, and the company continues to obey the applicable laws and regulations in India and will not tolerate any misconduct, Oppo India said in a statement.
