Amidst the ongoing tensions between US and North Korea, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi has reportedly urged to end US-South Korean military exercises on Wednesday. He also urged to stop North Korea’s nuclear program to calm tensions on the peninsula. While stating Pyongyang’s continuing nuclear tests were “a clear violation of UN resolutions,” he also stressed that persisting with military maneuvers around the peninsula “is not in the spirit of the resolutions either.”
