Chhattisgarh government on Saturday reportedly suspended state prison official Varsha Dongre. Notably, Dongre recently wrote a Facebook post in which she had alleged that state security personnel indulged in torture and sexual abuse of minor Adivasi girls inside prisons. According to reports, Dongre was suspended for ‘indiscipline’ behaviour.
