A number of celebrities at the 2017 Oscars red carpet sported a blue ribbon to show their support for the American Civil Liberties Union. The A.C.L.U, a nonprofit organisation which is against the US President Donald Trump’s executive order restricting travel for refugees and citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries. Stars like Ruth Negga, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karlie Kloss, wore a blue ribbon as a part of ‘Stand With ACLU’ initiative.
