The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday reportedly arrested Uthup Varghese, the main accused in the ₹300 crore nursing recruitment scam. According to reports, the CBI detained Varghese after he landed at the international airport in Nedumbassery, Kerala. Varghese had left for the Gulf soon after the scam surfaced two years ago.
