Following the sacking of Anurag Thakur as BCCI president, the Supreme Court had reportedly entrusted senior most vice president of the board C K Khanna to run the board’s affairs. According to reports, the BCCI is mulling over appointing Khanna as its president. However, retired Justice Mukul Mudgal, in a report submitted to Delhi High Court, termed Khanna as a “pernicious influence”.
