Businessman drowns in sea trying to save a drowning dog

According to reports, 41-year-old Nitin Shenoy, a Mumbai-based businessman, lost his life trying to save a drowning dog from the sea off the coast of Dubai. The founder of the IT company Tejora Technologies Limited was taking a stroll on the beach at Palm Jumeirah on April 9, when he saw the struggling dog. Without thinking his own safety, he jumped into the water to save the dog, that belonged to a friend, and was pulled into the deep by the currents, say reports. His wife reportedly said although Nitin knew how to swim, he had only swum in the pool and never in the sea.
