The Border Security Force has seized fake ₹2,000 notes worth ₹6.96 lakh from the Indo-Bangladesh border at Kaliachak in Malda district. This happens after the BSF led a raid after receiving intelligence inputs about the movement of the consignment from across the border in Bangladesh into India. The notes were reportedly thrown into Indian territory from the other side.
