The Rajput Karni Sena have reportedly refused to apologise for the assault on filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, claiming that the organisation’s volunteers were provoked by the film crew’s action of firing gunshots in the air. Lokhendra Singh, the spokesperson of RKS, justified the attack and said,  "We won't tolerate distortion of history." Further, he added that the organization had registered a complaint with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
