Bengaluru’s administrative body Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike is reportedly planning to take ownership of the ground floors of the buildings that are constructed outside its regulations. The new policy was reportedly mentioned in the budget of 2017-18. The proposal is expected to curb the violations and safety hazards.
