The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the fixtures for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2017 season. The opening match is scheduled to happen at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on the 5th of April, 2017. The defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad will face last year's runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener. The stadium will also host the final on the 21st of May.
