According to the MasterCard Global Destinations Cities index, Bangkok overtakes London as the most popular travel destination this year as it is projected to receive 21.47 million international overnight visitors. London is projected to receive 19.88 million visitors, followed by Paris with 18.03 million visitors. Dubai and New York complete the top five in the 132 most-visited cities list.
