In the Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir, six army personnel were reportedly killed after an avalanche struck on Thursday. According to reports, a massive rescue operation is underway as two jawans are reported to be missing. Notably, an army major was killed and four others were injured on Wednesday in Sonmarg in Ganderbal district after an avalanche hit.
